50% lower CO₂ impact
One of the most significant advantages of Rivercyclon® is its substantially lower environmental footprint. The new fabrics can reduce material CO₂ impact by approximately 50% compared with conventional coated fabrics, while still delivering the strength, durability and waterproof performance required for demanding applications.

But reducing carbon impact is only part of the story.

Rivercyclon® has been developed around a mono-material architecture using 100% compatible materials, making the coated fabric mechanically recyclable and designed to remain within the material cycle.

The range also brings together several additional advantages for brands, designers and manufacturers:

• Circular by design – a fully recyclable mono-material construction designed for mechanical recycling.
• PFAS-free Inherent water repellency – selected lightweight Outdoor & Luggage fabrics offer durable water repellency engineered directly into the material.
• Solution dyed – colour is incorporated before the yarn is spun, drastically reducing water use while providing durable and consistent colour.
• Lightweight and strong – the low density and excellent strength-to-weight ratio of polypropylene enable efficient lightweight product design.
• Easy to process – sew or weld using familiar production methods, without the need to fundamentally change existing manufacturing processes.
• Commercially competitive – developed not only to reduce environmental impact, but also to provide a realistic, scalable alternative for the market.
